Tayo oversees our Finance, People and Culture, Technology, Facilities, Risk and Compliance functions. She is a qualified accountant who joined the Refugee Council with over 25 years of experience in corporate and charity sectors.

She has held many senior leadership roles in charities and also supported various charities in planning for growth and successfully implementing strategic transformation programmes.

Most recently, Tayo was the Chief Operating Officer at Redthread (now part of Catch 22) and prior to that she was Director of Finance and Resources at Chance UK and Director of People and Culture at Resurgo.

Tayo is passionate about creating an inclusive work environment for people to thrive and managing organisational resources effectively, ensuring that organisations are sustainable in the long term.

Our Senior Management Team is a group of individuals employed by the Refugee Council that work closely with the Board of Trustees to deliver our charity’s operations, strategy and make key decisions.

They are responsible for making sure that we are achieving our mission.
