We’ve helped hundreds of thousands of refugees and people seeking asylum through our work with other organisations.

We support grassroots services and work with organisations across Britain to build a fairer and more humane refugee protection system.

In 2023-24 we supported:

14,432

refugees and asylum seekers

11,085

were new clients

We helped:

3,030 adults and families seeking asylum to:

  • navigate the asylum application process.
  • secure housing and financial support.
  • access specialist support and make connections in their communities.

6,774 children and young people through our specialist Youth Services to:

  • understand how things work in the UK, including the asylum application process, getting into school and support from children’s social care.
  • access specialist therapeutic support for children who have experienced trauma.
  • challenge the injustice of having their age determined incorrectly and being placed in adult accommodation.

4,742 adults and families recognised as refugees in Britain to:

  • access housing, benefits, health, education, and employment.
  • rebuild their lives in the UK with the specialist support of our refugee services.
