Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use our website easily, including people with disabilities. We work hard to make sure our site is welcoming and easy for everyone to use.

What We’re Doing

We try to follow the best rules and guidelines for making websites accessible, like the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). We want our website and its features to work well for as many people as possible.

Here’s How We Make Our Site Accessible:

  • You can use the keyboard to move around the site
  • Pictures have text descriptions (alt text)
  • Menus and links are clear and easy to follow
  • Colors stand out enough to be easy to read
  • Forms and labels are simple and clear

We Keep Improving

We know there’s always more we can do, and we’re always working to make our website better. If you notice any problems or have ideas for how we can improve, we’d love to hear from you.

If you run into any issues using our site or have suggestions, please get in touch with the Digital Team digital@refugeecouncil.org.uk

We’ll do our best to reply quickly and fix any problems.
