Refugee Council marches against cuts to refugee advice services on 26 March

The Refugee Council's Proud to Protect Refugees bannerIn response to calls from our partner organisations, the Refugee Council is co-ordinating a refugee sector presence at the TUC March for the Alternative on 26 March.

If you would like to march with us on the day, please meet outside Southwark Tube Station at 12.30pm, from there we’ll walk over Blackfriars Bridge to join the march on Victoria Embankment. For more information, please email campaigns@refugeecouncil.org.uk.

Our clients, volunteers and staff have created a banner for the day – if you’re planning to attend, look out for us! If you’re unable to make it, you can join the virtual protest and leave a message of support.

Refugee Council Chief Executive Donna Covey will be speaking at the rally at 3pm.

You can find information on transport to London for the march here. If you are travelling from outside London, we recommend you go directly to Victoria Embankment and join the march there.
