There is nothing wrong with human rights when the focus is the protection of the individual against tyranny.
But as British and Canadian citizens have discovered too late, the Charter of Rights is the product of selfish nihilistic people who have worked out how to use the notion of human rights to convert extreme social policies into laws that they know most citizens would never support at the ballot box.
The selfish manipulators and charlatans cannot explain how a charter of rights will help society and cannot conceal the terrible damage charters of rights are doing right now to the fabric of society in Britain and Canada and elsewhere where an individuals rights are deemed superior to individual responsibility to the interests of other citizens.
Even the architect of Britain’s charter of rights admits his charter is now a villain’s charter because, he says, it advantages wrongdoers, murderers and other criminals while the community suffers.
