This weekend we took our Just.Fair campaign to Rise, London’s anti-racism festival in Finsbury Park.
An amazing day of music, arts, comedy, poetry and fun, the festival attracted an estimated 100,000 revellers of all ages and from all walks of life. If you didn’t make it, make sure you do next year. It’s free, fun and for a good cause – you can’t say fairer than that!
That’s our campaign and information stall on the right, and one of our wonderful volunteers. Moments after the photo we had a burst of torrential rain that made our covered tent very popular for 10 minutes!
A big thanks to all of the friendly faces who came to chat to us at our stall and to support our Just.Fair campaign. We gathered hundreds more signatures to support our campaign to end the destitution that thousands of asylum seekers face when in the UK. If you haven’t signed up yet, then get involved or find out more here.
See you at next year’s festival!
