The Separated Child Guide is a colour coded, visual resource to assist newly arrived separated children and care leavers who have made a claim for asylum in the UK to understand the asylum process and their rights & responsibilities as looked after children and care leavers in England. It was produced and funded by the Kent Young Stakeholders Partnership project: Refugee Council Children’s Section Kent, KRAN (Kent Refugee Action Network), Kent Kindness, Mustard Seed funding from St Mary’s at Goudhurst & Kilndown, the Young Lives Foundation (YLF) and young people we work with.
