Further information:

As Men’s Group Coordinator you will offer support  to newly arrived refugees on their journey to integrate into their new lives here in the UK. Many clients have requested the opportunity to sit with their peers to discuss common challenges, successes and potential barriers to integration such as cultural differences. Together, we will share how to overcome these challenges and re-identify clients’ priorities in terms of employment, education and general aspirations. We have a range of materials, resources and expertise to contribute to group development and help to project manage coordination of groups across Hertfordshire. We are looking for enthusiastic, creative and dedicated volunteers available for 2-3 hours a week across Hertfordshire. Successful applicants will be provided with an initial introduction and information relating to what support will be offered by Refugee Council. To acknowledge the dedicated support from our incredible volunteers, you will also receive regular supervisions, invitations to quarterly celebratory events and trainings.
