“DEFRA’s EU and International Trade Directorate voted the Refugee Council its charity of the year 2018-2019, an opportunity to raise awareness and funds in support of the charity.
“We have worked closely with the Refugee Council, and have felt extremely supported, as the charity have provided resources and speakers for events, and there is regular engagement. It has been a great opportunity for the directorate to raise awareness of the Refugee Crisis, and what we can do, and reflect upon the inclusive workplace the civil service continuously strives to become.”
