Lewisham Wellbeing Therapeutic Service

Please note that the Lewisham Wellbeing Therapeutic Service is currently accepting new referrals.

What is this service?

We offer:

  • Up to 12 weeks of individual therapy sessions. These can be for adults or young people.
  • Group therapy sessions.
  • A weekly mother and toddler group. This is for children aged 0-3. It is held on Tuesday mornings.
  • Therapy for young people. This includes drama, stories, movement, art and play.
  • Interpreters are available.
  • Sessions online or in-person.  

Can I use this service?

You must be a resident in the London borough of Lewisham.

The service is for:

  • Adults and families seeking asylum
  • Recently recognized refugees (within the last six months)
  • Adults and families who arrived under Refugee Resettlement schemes. Including:
  • Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme (VPRS)
  • Vulnerable Children’s Resettlement Scheme (VCRS)
  • UK Resettlement Scheme (UKRS)
  • Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy (ARAP)
  • Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme (ACRS)
  • Young people (13-18 years old)
  • Ukrainian refugees, who have relocated to the UK under the Homes for Ukraine scheme.
