Doncaster Therapeutic Service
Please note that the Doncaster Therapeutic Service is unable to accept referrals for people who are seeking asylum, or for refugees who have settled in the UK after claiming asylum.
What is this service?
This service has one therapist working in Doncaster for one day per week (Wednesdays). They work one-to-one with adult clients aged 18 and over with an interpreter.
We offer:
- Up to 12 sessions of therapy for resettled refugees
- An initial assessment
- Treatment plans
- Specially trained interpreters
Can I use this service?
You can only use this service if you arrived in the UK under:
- The Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme
- The Vulnerable Children’s Resettlement Scheme
- The Gateway Protection Programme
- The United Kingdom Resettlement Scheme
- The Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy
- The Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme
